We wanted to thank you for your time and dedication to your daughters and this program.  From all of the volunteer coaches out on the field, we hear the excitement from the girls knowing that their loved ones are in the stands watching and waiting for them.  So, thanks for taking time out of your busy schedules to help out at the bake tables, selling/purchasing 50/50 tickets or just to cheering on these kids.  It means more to them than we can put into words and as an organization, we appreciate ALL who are involved. 

Some additional items to keep in mind:

Banquets - Each banquet is being held separately by Team.  Your Team mom or your coach will be giving you information soon about when and where your banquet will be held.  It will be a simple event, but one that the kids enjoy.  Please let your coach know if your family will not be able to attend the team Banquet.

End of the year “Feedback Forms” – We would appreciate constructive feedback about your experience with the league this season.  We simply can’t improve the league without the thoughts from the families and this form gives you the opportunity to provide anonymous feedback on your coaches, practice and game experiences, etc.  So, please take the time to print the form and fill it out.   The mailing address is provided at the bottom of the form.  We appreciate your time and consideration in this manner.

Cleveland State University Cheer Clinic  -  The Cleveland State University is holding a Cheerleading Clinic for grades 1 - 8 on January 10, 2009.  The Varsity Cheer Coach had her start in cheerleading in the youth leagues here in Brunswick (and she recently returned to live in our hometown).  She wanted to extend an invitation to the girls in our league to attend.  From conversations with her, the clinic will instruct on basic chants, cheers, motions and jumps.  In addition, a dance routine will be taught and all clinic participants will get a ticket to the CSU Vikings basketball game for that night and will perform at half-time. 

‘More information regarding the time, how to purchase additional discount tickets and cost of the clinic can be found on this Flyer.  This is not a required CCYF event, but something we thought we would pass on now as an opportunity for our Cheer families who might be interested as it does state on the flyer that there is limited space available for the clinic.

Next Season?  - It’s never too early to start planning for next season.  So, if you are willing to coach, give the league an extra hand, etc. next year, please give your contact information to Julie or Rhonda.
